wedding packaging and such

Branding and presentation is one of the more delightful aspects of my work, and since I love seeing what other photographers do I thought I’d share my own set. This summer I switched from giving wedding images on DVDs to custom USBs and the PASS share system, and I’ve been so happy with both.  There are links at the bottom for everything I’ve used, so if you’re a photographer needing inspiration I hope this helps!

For starters – PASS is genius, pure and simple.

It’s the brainchild of beauty and efficiency, and allows my clients to see their pictures, share with friends, choose favorites, order prints and post to Facebook – all from their computer, iPad or iPhone. The gallery is a similar layout to Pinterest, and there’s a video explaining it a bit more here.

Even though my clients can download all their high res files through PASS, I prefer to send a hard copy along too. By the time their wedding is over they’re usually dear chums, so I love including a little gift too. Since launching my new website this year I wanted to do something that matched, so tried to include my love of dark blue, white borders, natural textures, splatter paint, home decorating, caffeine, and things tied up with string.

I hope that was somehow accomplished, and more importantly that my clients are loving it : )

for the USBs I went with these wood drive options from USB Memory Direct, and had a great experience working with the company. my initial plans were drives with my logo printed in color, but when we tried it they recommended laser engraving instead. they were patient enough to try a few revisions, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

I fell in love with this hand-lettered print of wedding vows. it’s an 8×10 so the perfect size to be hung on a gallery wall or framed on a bookshelf, and I just thought a sweet reminder to see everyday.

local coffee or delicious eats, depending on how far I’m mailing the box.

As always, huge thanks to the wonder that is Jen Olmstead / Deleted Space Creative for my website, blog, and branding!
