This space took a little break for a redesign, and I’m thrilled to launch my new blog today. The last month or two has been full of shoots and traveling (including a last-minute trip to Europe!) and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been up to.
I’m so thankful for my chum Jen Olmstead (of Deleted Space Creative and Tonic Site Shop) for her creative genius in designing this blog. We launched my new website earlier this year and wanted this to match with an elegant structure that was still personable, whimsical, and comfortable to spend time on. She caught the balance perfectly, and gave me a blog so much cooler than I deserve.
Over summer I felt like it was (finally!) time to take steps towards my goal of moving into more fashion work, and had a busy fall to that end. I’m most inspired by the foggy landscapes and romantic gardens of the British Isles, and decided to plan another trip there just for the purpose of building a portfolio of the type of work I feel most drawn to do. Those weeks wandering from cities to the highlands were an incredible gift, and I can’t wait to share the beauty.
One of the most exciting things I did there was an autumn-themed editorial for my favorite UK blog Rock My Wedding,
and they’ve posted the full shoot today! Our location was a stunning English estate of my Secret Garden + Jane Austen dreams, and we had a whole team of people hanging wallpaper, fluffing gowns and making our berry-stained dreams come true. I never wanted it to end : ) I’ll blog my favorites here tomorrow, but I’d love if you visited their site
today to see it all!
