So.

I’ve gone from Lynchburg to Nashville to [EdinburghGlasgowFortWilliamMallaigPortreeKyleofLochalshInverness&Aviemore,] Scotland, to finally the mustard-colored Edwardian couch I’m sitting on in Rensselaer, Indiana.

Scotland was legend’ry and I fell truly madly deeply in love with everything. (The train and bike rides and staggering mountain views, the new friends in every city and nights that talked their way into mornings, the tea cups and bookshops and green tweed armchairs, the wedding bagpipes and kilts and ceilidh dancing, the surrealism of costumed city streets and music box nostalgia…the feelings of home.)

For being sick, stressed and exhausted, I feel amazing. The last month has been such a needed lesson in strength, weakness, confidence and grace. I have a couple big announcements and excitements that I can’t wait to ramble on about – not to mention the few dozen weddings I haven’t blogged yet.

Speaking of!

I’m in Indiana for one so awesome and anticipated it has it’s own hashtag. Yeah, totes. It’s not every day people like Tori & Aaron BonWatson get married. It’s supposed to snow today but so far no ice age. This weekend feels like the perfect finale to everything and I’m so excited to steal all of Tori’s darling clothes. (shh.)

Happiest of weekends to you all.

  1. I love you, my dear. can’t wait to talk over a cup of tea.
