ireland, part two

( if you didn’t see the first part, click right here )

i got home from Nashville at midnight last night and I’m leaving for Scotland in 11 hours. it’s 5:13am and i’ve given up on getting to bed tonight so naturally my attention turns to procrastination. it seemed pathetic to leave for this side of the world again without posting the rest of my pictures from my summer trip, so here they are.

( “summer trip”, as if my life is always this exciting. )

my head is too tired to narrate so i won’t even try, just know that pictures could never do this place justice and i loved it more than i thought possible. i remain thankful for the profound beauty of each dawn and night that brought truth about all the clearer.

new friends / old thoughts

…and home

  1. So, so very lovely. I don’t want to stop looking… the country feels so very enchanted, so fresh.
And you look lovely, of course. =)
(ps— picture one on the right of leaves and dew drops, it simply took my breath away. love, love, love it)

  2. Jennifer says:

the somewhat scowly one of you in front of the cliffs – you look stunning! and… fierce? i’m not sure i’ve watched enough america’s next top model to describe the aesthetic, but i’m going to go with “fierce.” definitely one of my favorite photos of you ever.

and the rest are pretty nice, too.

  3. Undeniably perfect. Can’t wait to go someday…

  4. Umm…have I mentioned how MIND BLOWING your work is?!! These pictures are FANTASTIC! 😀

  5. Conor says:

  6. Taylor says:

Oh Yeah. We play in this park all the time. Right underneath a ruined castle. No biggie.
    LOVE THEM ALL. 🙂

  7. Ally says:

  8. Jona says:

Ireland should use this post to advertise tourism for their country lol I am totally sold!
I am loving your photography, thanks for sharing these 🙂

  9. […] from life. It’s like another holiday at the sea for Josh and I (see our last one here and here) and I AM SO MUCH […]

  10. Dan says:

It’s strange to feel homesick for a place that I’ve never visited. I have known that feeling for Ireland since my mid-teens. Your album captures that cloudy, ancient, and intensely green country so well. Thanks for sharing!
