studio | open house!

So a little while ago Carrie and I opened our studio, and to celebrate it’s prettiness we had ourselves a party.

About 150 of our friends and clients came through that day and it was SO so so much fun. Felt a bit like a wedding reception actually – getting to catch up and celebrate a life achievement surrounded by our favorite people with delicious food and pretty clothes (thanks to Gourmet Amore and Madisonbelle, respectively) in a place we’ve invested so much of ourselves into. Still can’t believe I’m blessed enough to work in a place like this!

The day certainly had the adrenaline rush aspect of a wedding too, seeing how the place was basically decorated in the two days before the party. (Not even kidding – this was the main room the afternoon before.)

It meant the world having such supportive and endlessly patient people help out with all the last-minute everythings. Massive thanks and appreciation especially to my family, Kathy, Joe, Gail, Grace, Rebekah, Elisabeth, Cate and Jeremy for all their help. Couldn’t possibly have survived without you!

We set up a photo booth and a few of my friends were kind enough to man that, (if you haven’t been emailed the link for the rest of the gallery just leave a comment and I’ll get that to you!) and having these just completes our happy little fake-wedding day : )
